- Vagrans Hemming, F. 1934. New names for three genera of Rhopalocera. The Entomologist 67: 77 [77] [before 1934 this genus was incorrectly known as Issoria Hübner, 1819 owing to an error by Moore, F. 1900. Lepidoptera Indica. Rhopalocera: family Nymphalidae, sub-family Nymphalinae (continued), Groups Limenitina, Nymphalina, and Argynnina. London : Lovell Reeve & Co. Vol. 4 pp. 113–260 (201) who stated that Papilio egista Cramer, 1780 was the type species of Issoria Hübner, 1819; Moore had overlooked the earlier designation by Scudder, S.H. 1875.
