Genus Pseudalastor Giordani Soika, 1962
- Pseudalastor Giordani Soika, A. 1962. Gli Odynerus sensu antiquo del continente australiano e della Tasmania. Bollettino del Museo Civico di Storia Naturale di Venezia 14(1961): 57-202 [131].
Type species:
Odynerus concolor Saussure, 1853 by original designation.
Introduction
Borsato (2003) notes that this genus and Australodynerus Giordani Soika are close relatives and species in both genera share several characters, with a few species in each genus that could be moved to the other one. The fact that the type species of Pseudalastor, Odynerus concolor Saussure is known only from females does not help in better delineating the boundaries between these genera.
