London : British Museum Vol. 1(1758–1863) viii 3–184 pp. (87) discussed the confusion of the type species of Pantoporia Hübner, [1819] and Acca Hübner, [1819], but regarded both names as synonyms of Neptis Fabricius, 1807; Eliot, J.N. 1969. An analysis of the Eurasian and Australian Neptini (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae). Bulletin of the British Museum (Natural History). Entomology 15: 1–156 pls 1–3 (6) gave priority to Pantoporia Hübner, [1819] over Acca Hübner, [1819] and was probably the first reviser].
