Commensal, estuary, low intertidal, shallow subtidal.
Extra Ecological Information
Australian hosts of this species include bivalve molluscs, Mytilus sp., Eumarcia fumigata, Modiolus sp. (all Mytilidae), Neotrigonia margaritacea, and Donax deltoides; intertidal to about 20 m depth.
