Nocturnal, predator (host(s): Barnacles; Amphibalanus variegatus Darwin, 1854).
Extra Ecological Information
In their description of this species, Lee et al. (2005) examined the feeding behaviour of I. lateotentare and observed that it had the potential to be a voracious, noctural predator of barnacles (particularly Amphibalanus variegatus (Darwin, 1854)). Associated with barnacles.
