Genus Bradburia Faubel, Blome & Cannon, 1994
- Bradburia Faubel, A., Blome, D. & Cannon, L.R.G. 1994. Sandy beach meiofauna of eastern Australia (southern Queensland and New South Wales). I. Introduction and Macrostomida (Platyhelminthes). Monographs on Invertebrate Taxonomy 8(4): 899-1007 [997].
Type species:
Macrostomum miraculicis Schmidt & Sopott-Ehlers, 1976 by original designation.
Introduction
Brand et al. (2022) suggests that the Bradburia is a poorly supported genus based on diagnostic traits, and that future genetic analyses may well reveal that its two species, B. miraculicis and B. australiensis, resolve well within Macrostomum.
