  Type data:

   Syntype(s) MGH 16509 ♀ (Daemel, in litter), Port MacKay, Rockhampton, Qld
  Comment: The Port Mackay specimen is missing. The Rockhamton type is an example of M. luctuosa while the original description is of M. erythrocephala and presumably reflects the lost specimen. While moving this name to M. luctuosa Pekar et al 2017 did not nominate a lectotype.
