Family TETRAGONOCEPHALIDAE Yamaguti, 1959
Introduction
The family Tetragonocephalidae is characterised by a scolex with four suckers and, at its apex, a large, mushroom-shaped expansion termed a metaporhynchus.The family is currently represented by a single species of Tylocephalum in Australia (Butler 1987), but other species have been collected.
