Superfamily PERICELOIDEA Bahia, Padula & Schrödl, 2017
Introduction
Periceloidea and its only family, Pericelidae, are recognised in recent genetic analyses by Bahia et al. (2017) and Dittman et al. (2019), but Litvaitis et al. (2019) argue for the invalidation of the superfamily and the family, with its only genus, Pericelis considered as a member of the Diposthidae.
